How to survive summer exam period?

Logically, you would say - there's no way. I will end up becoming a zombie. (Exactly.) Well, that's what I said in the first place. But I guess we all love to exaggerate a little. And we love to panic. Oh, we do. And - let's face it - we are simply frightened by the fact that...(we WILL become zombies, eventually). Okay. I wanted to sound encouraging. So, what you need to remember is that you have to organize your time better in order to succeed. You can forget about social networks, TV shows, movies, magazines, even your iphone. Basically, you are allowed to eat (not drink!) whatever and whenever you want, short walks are also recommended and you should get AT LEAST 6 hours of sleep a night/day. And - do not get too frustrated if you don't manage to pass every one of your exams. Hell, we all know that's impossible. (especially if you have around 10 of them plus oral parts, in my case). And you will need luck. Knowledge always goes first, but luck is a close second factor. Do your best, hope for the best and never let failure define you. Instead of that, appreciate every success that comes. And try not to become a zombie :)

Monday is a bitch - but you are too

Let's face it - we all hate Monday. We don't want to accept the fact that weekend is over and that we can't escape from all the obligations and complications Monday throws at us. Monday doesn't care whether we've had enough sleep or not. Oh, no.

You know that feeling when you are in your pyjamas and you don't want to slip into anything else because you simply cannot find anything else that is as comfortable as your pyjamas? Yeah, I guess we all know. But, all of a sudden it's Monday morning and you have classes at 8 o'clock and you don't have time to think about what to wear or how you look and you just decide to...not give a damn about it.

Well, this is what I do (wear) when I decide not to give a damn about Monday.

(I know. Why green nail polish? Well, why classes at 8am?)

What about now?

One Tree Hill is over and I wonder...what all those beautiful, talented people will do next? Where life will lead them? Well, back on my TV screen (or even big screen), I hope. Because over the years of knowing and loving this show, I haven't just met Haley James, Nathan Scott or Brooke Davis. I fell in love with people who portray them and I started to care about them. I love their faces, I love what they do, I love what they say, I love how they behave.

Apart from being a new Mom and an amazing musician, Bethany Joy Galeotti is currently working on a mysterious project called Diamond Gothic http://diamondgothic.tumblr.com/ and I'm dying to find out more about it!

This morning, I heard that Sophia Bush has landed the female lead in CBS' comedy pilot, Partners. Sophia will play Ali, the ''girlfriend of one of the show's two male architects whose relationship itself resembles a marriage''. I hope that this comedy will get picked up so that we could all enjoy Sophie's performance and to see her in different role from the one she had for nine years in One Tree Hill.

What I find most intriguing is definitely James Lafferty's future career. Yes, he's done some movies and that Wild Life episode but I think he needs to do something bigger because he really is great actor and he has grown as an actor as well as the person through these 9 years on One Tree Hill.

In the meantime, we have only 8 more final episodes of OTH and, trust me, they will take your breath away.

My favourite picks from OTH's Haley James Scott closet

One Tree Hill is now in its ninth and final season, and I'm beyond sad and depressed and excited and nostalgic. I have so many different feelings about its ending. I've been watching this show for more than 5 years now, and I can proudly say that it was, it is, and it will always be my favourite TV show and my main source of inspiration. Since the very beginning, Haley James Scott was and still is, my favourite female character. I love how much she has grown over the years, being tutor-girl, rock-star, wife, Mom, teacher, how she dealt with all the troubles life had thrown at her way and her marriage with Nathan, how she coped with depression after her mother's death...and of course, I love her fashion-style. Not to mention that Bethany Joy Galeotti, who portrays her, is amazingly talented actress and singer. To start with the prom dress, which eventually was an inspiration for my own prom dress although I made some changes...Also, I don't like sparkling dresses or shirts in general, but when Haley wears them, it looks really pretty...But I'm not going to talk anymore, I think that this description from TreeHillStyle.com says it all:

Bags, bags, bags - we love them!

Well, I don't know about you, but I absolutely adore them! I'm kind of obsessed with bags - the big ones, the small ones, all kinds of bags and purses and even laptop cases (although I do prefer the big ones). And - I'm always looking for a new one to buy. When I'm shopping and I have no idea how to spend my money (but I have to spend it on SOMETHING, of course) I decide it's time to buy a new bag. If I had enough money, I guess I would be wearing a different bag every day. Just take a look at this one which looks almost exactly as my background! Isn't it lovely?

New year, new ideas, new blog. I could as well say the first(real)one(I hope!), which won't be any kind of diary, as usual, but the place where I will try to inspire myself and anyone else who wants to be inspired :)
